The French club has officially become a part of our high school’s extra-curricular activities.

Mme McCoy and Mme Smith run this club.

They meet once a month, but for now they are meeting more to prepare for National French Week. It takes place from November 10- 14.

There is about 25 members in this club. Though, the attending members vary per meeting.

This is also the first year celebrating French Week.

Both teachers sold red and blue shirts for students to wear on French Club Friday during French Week. They are red and blue like the flag.

As Mme McCoy said, “I am hoping to dispel the stereotype that all French are rude and arrogant.”

It is much encouraged by them to keep on the lookout during French Week and maybe even join French Club.
