Many fun and exciting events are being planned in these upcoming months by SGA.
First on the list are upcoming elections for the freshman Ways and Means officers, date TBA.
Also, the Grant Committee is up and running and is willing to give grants to school recognized clubs. Interested parties should fill out an application in the Activities Office.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, BPHS is hosting a 5K color run to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund for pediatric cancer. Everyone is welcome, so tell your family and friends. The fees are as follows: the cost is $15 for students, $20 for adults, and $10 for kids 10 and under. The race starts at 1 p.m. and you can sign up in the activities office or on race day starting at 11 a.m.
Lastly, on Sunday, Dec. 8, in the BPHS gyms, there will be a dodge ball tournament and a concessions area. All the proceeds will be donated to the Four Diamonds Fund. You are allowed to have seven to eight people per team and you must have one girl on every team. Packets are available in the Activities Office and are due Friday, Nov. 27. Also, neighboring school districts are invited to support this great cause by participating in this tournament.
