Mrs. Broderick and her unique classes

Alex Mullen and Jake Thimons

Mrs. Broderick is all smiles at her desk.

When talking high school electives, a few always come up: Woodshop, Survival in the Kitchen, Scholastic Journalism, and Media Productions. But there are several others that are some of the most popular classes in the school.

Four of the most popular include: Sports & Entertainment Management, Accounting, Virtual CEO, and Personal Finance. What is so amazing about these classes is that they’re all taught by the same teacher, Mrs. Broderick.

Students around the school have highlighted how Mrs. B’s classes have been an energetic and knowledgeable experience. “I thoroughly enjoyed her classes, it’s a nice change of pace, her classes are different from all the other classes,” said junior Nick Guimond.

Mrs. B has a wide variety of classes. In Sports Entertainment, you create your own sports team’s franchise, design their uniforms, stadium, and fan gear, and fill out their roster.

In Virtual CEO, you run a realistic simulation where you run your own company.

As one can see, Mrs. B’s classes are not only diverse, but she makes them some of the most enjoyable classes in the school.

Senior Ty Miller stated that “Mrs. B is one of my favorite teachers.” While he just joined her class, he can already tell that it’s going to be a great class.

Miller is not alone with his favorable opinion of her classes.

When asked how Nick “Bosanity” Bomar would describe Mrs. B and her class, he only had one word to say, “fantastic.”

As you can see, Mrs. B has some great classes that everyone should take before they graduate.
