This week’s Fantastically Fabulous Feature is being awarded to sophomore student, Lexi Karnos. She plays softball for the girls’ softball team and is an active leader in school activities.

Lexi is constantly complimented on her natural eyebrows due to their color, shape, and style. Hawk Eye decided it was time to get down to the bottom of things. How does she get her eyebrows so perfect?

“I do my own eyebrows myself,” says Lexi.

Since seventh grade, Lexi has been on top of her eyebrow game.

“My mom got these wax stripes and she used to do my eyebrows for me,” added Lexi.

Lexi uses Sally Hansen’s Eyebrow, Face, and Lip Wax Kit. She recommends that people who want to start plucking, waxing, and styling their eyebrows go to a professional first.

“The professionals that work at makeup stores will help you figure out the shape of your eyebrows and help you learn how to style and maintain them.”

Lexi plucks her eyebrows on a week-by-week basis, and she waxes them every two weeks.

When asked if getting one’s eyebrows waxed or plucked for the first time hurts, she said, “Yes, but it is very quick and easy.”
