Extra, extra, read all about it! Stephanie Hanania has joined Scholastic Publications and is ready to write her way into your hearts.
Stephanie is a junior at BPHS. This is her first year writing for the newspaper. She joined Scholastic Publications because she really enjoys all aspects of writing. She is eager and ready to work on both the newspaper and the yearbook, but is more excited about the newspaper. Stephanie's main focus this year is documenting interesting events happening around school.
She talked about how her mom is her biggest inspiration. When asked why she felt this way, she responded: "I've been looking up to her ever since I could remember. She's always been such a hard worker; no matter what she is going through, she always manages to get back on her feet faster and better than she ever has before."
After she graduates, Stephanie plans on going to college for nursing at Palm Beach Atlantic University, a private university in West Palm Beach, Fl. Her interest in nursing mainly stems from her passion for helping others no matter what. Helping others is one of the most important things to her
She is also a member of the nonprofit organization Best Buddies International, a group to give more opportunities to those with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
