They finished 12th out of 32 of the best teams from across Pennsylvania. Other WPIAL teams included Latrobe (seventh), West Allegheny (11th), Canon-McMillan (17th), and Shaler (30th).
Individually, Mason Kernan placed third at 139 pounds. Ethan Higgins placed fourth at 145 pounds. Seth Miller captured sixth place at 127 pounds. Landon Hartman finished in seventh at 215 pounds.

Wednesday evening, the Hawks travel to neighboring Peters Township to take on the Indians at 7 p.m. for their first section contest of the season.
This is a highly-anticipated matchup between the two rival squads. A year ago, Peters edged Bethel, 36-23.
According to WPIALwrestle7 on X, this dual and the West Allegheny/Waynesburg dual are tied for what Wednesday night dual fans are most looking forward to.
The Black Hawks boast a strong lineup from top to bottom.
Peters Township can say the same. Some of their dogs include Nicholas McGarity (107 pounds), AJ McGarity (145 pounds), Darius McMillon (160 pounds), Chris Cibrone (160 pounds), and Zack Stromock (285 pounds).
Whatever the result, fans are in for a gritty match between these section foes.
