In Connellsville, on a crisp autumn evening, the Hawks delivered an impressive performance to secure the coveted section title. They triumphed over the Falcons with a commanding 5-1 victory.

The opening goal of the night was claimed by Xavier Jackson, who skillfully headed the ball into the net, courtesy of a well-placed cross from Jackson Friday.

In response, the Falcons managed to find the back of the net, resulting in a halftime deadlock with the score level at 1.

The tie was broken when Henry Gaston slipped the ball into the back post, capitalizing on a precise back pass from Jackson Friday.

Once again, Jackson Friday displayed his playmaking prowess, this time scoring a goal of his own by heading in a finely executed corner kick delivered by Luke Yimin.

Xavier Jackson continued to shine, securing the fourth goal for the Hawks with a one-touch full volley, skillfully served by none other than Jackson Friday.

As a final touch, Max LeMessuier calmly converted a penalty kick, sealing the Hawks’ commanding 5-1 road victory.

This triumph secured the Hawks’ section title, marking their first such victory since 2013.

Looking ahead, the team will face Ringgold in a home game on Thursday. In their previous encounter, the Hawks secured a 2-1 win.
