The Black Hawks’ football season starts this Friday, Aug. 30 against Woodland Hills at the Wolvarena.

The game is nominated for the Steelers High School Showcase Game of the Week. The fans will vote to determine the “game of the week,” and the Steelers TV crew will come out to the game. They will film the game and put highlights on their Twitter (@SteelersYouthFB) and their website. On Saturday morning, they provide a highlight tape of the game. Last season, they added a current or former player to do the coin toss!

Last year, Bethel Parks’ game against Baldwin on Oct. 12 was also a Steelers High School Game of the Week. Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster came and lit up the game.

“It was really cool to have one of the best and most liked players in the league at our home field. He brought a lot of energy and created a great atmosphere with the fans,” said quarterback Anthony Chiccitt.
