After a disappointing 4-1 loss to the New York Islanders in Game 3 and falling 3-0 in the first round series, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins will face playoff elimination as they square off against the New York Islanders on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh for Game 4.

The first round between the Islanders and the Penguins started off in New York with the Islanders winning Game 1 by the score of 4-3 in overtime, taking the 1-0 series lead.

The Islanders won Game 2, 3-1, and took a 2-0 series lead before shifting to Pittsburgh.

The Isles also won Game 3 and with it took a commanding 3-0 series lead to put the Pens one loss away from facing elimination.

There are two outcomes for this important Game 4 for the Penguins: if they lose, their season is done, but if they win, they are still alive in the series and will force a Game 5 in New York, which will be Thursday, April 18.
