After an impressive 5-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins continue their four-game road trip that faces off against the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. Friday night in Buffalo.

The Sabres just finished up a two-game road trip that began with a  5-3 loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday, Feb. 25 and ended with a 5-2 loss against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

Now, the Sabres come home to face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, Mar. 1.

The Sabres are 29-26-8 and are in fifth place in the Atlantic Division.

The Penguins are continuing their four-game road trip that began with a 4-3 overtime loss against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, Feb. 23; continued with a 5-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday, Feb. 26; persists with Buffalo on Friday, Mar. 1; and it ends in Montreal on Saturday, Mar. 2.

The Penguins are 33-22-8 and are in fourth place and are tied with the third-place Carolina Hurricanes in points (74). They are five points behind the Washington Capitals for second place and are five points behind the Metropolitan Division Leaders New York Islanders.

When Friday night comes around, the Penguins and Sabres will meet for the second time this season. These two teams last played in Pittsburgh on Nov. 19, in which Buffalo won that game by the score of 5-4 in overtime.

Even though the Penguins have injuries to Chad Ruhwedel, Bryan Rust, Kris Letang, Brian Dumoulin, and Olli Maatta, it should be an entertaining game in Buffalo as the Penguins look for their second consecutive win and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
