Senior guard Maria Cerro sets up for a shot in the Lady Hawks game vs. Shaler on Feb. 9.

The Lady Hawks basketball team (3-1, 8-1) is to tip-off against the Connellsville Lady Falcons (1-3, 4-6) Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at The Nest.

The Lady Hawks are looking to take home a win against the Falcons. This is an important section game for the Lady Hawks, as they hope to begin another win streak having lost to the Peters Twp. Indians last Thursday.

When asked about the upcoming game, sophomore guard Olivia Westphal stated, “It’s always tough coming off of a loss, but I’m confident that we will come back even stronger than we were before.”

This is a needed win that will add to the Lady Hawks 8-1 record. Section wins are always important, but this one is personal for the Lady Hawks. Make sure you come out and support them tonight as they hope to go 9-1!
