Boys’ bball gains momentum from big win over USC
The boys’ varsity basketball team triumphed over the Upper St. Clair Panthers on Saturday, Feb. 6. The Hawks defeated the Panthers 73-65.
Bethel Park’s Ryan Meis had himself a night with 29 points. Nick Bomar added in 15 and Justin Meis contributed with 10 points.
Junior Nick Bomar said after the game, “With it being our senior night, we really wanted get this one for our four seniors.”
On Bethel Park’s very own senior night and recreation appreciation night, they overcame the Panthers after USC’s big win the night before against Peters Township.
With this uplifting victory, the boys looked to win against the Connellsville Falcons in their last home game of the season.
