Try out outdoor track
Outdoor track is a sport for everyone! Even if you are not that fast, there is a place on the team for you!
There will be an outdoor track meeting after school on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Room P402. Room P402 is one of the yoga rooms above the gym.
Find out more information about the sport and the events you can participate in.
Running track events include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4×800, 4×100, and 4×400.
Jumping track events include: 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump, high jump, and pole vault.
Throwing track events include: shot put, discus, and javelin.
With all of these events, there is sure to be one for you!
Take the time to come to the meeting where you will receive the required paperwork and meet the coaches who will explain practices and meets.
Join the track team to perfect your event and surprise yourself with the ability you never thought you had!
