Boys’ bball bows to the Big Macs
The boys’ varsity basketball team lost a tough one on Friday, Jan. 6 to Canon Mac by a score of 67-51.
The high scorer for the Big Macs was Britton Beachy with 17 points. Freshman Ryan Meis lead the Black Hawks with 15 points.
Ryan Meis spoke after the game and said, “Yeah it was a tough loss, but we have to move on and grow from it. Our focus is towards the Falcons Friday. One game at a time.”
The Hawks look get to back on track with a win against Connellsville this Friday and improve their section record to 1-3. With the rest of the week off, the boys look to regroup at practice and prepare for the game at the ‘Ville.
