At Mount Lebanon High School on Tuesday, Jan. 3, the boys’ varsity basketball team suffered a defeat at the hands of the Blue Devils by a score of 52-36.

Leading scorer for the Blue Devils was Mark Lamendola with 15 points. Bethel Park was lead by Jake Nuttridge and Alex Mullen who each had 7 points.

The Black Hawks look to move on from the loss at Mount Lebanon, and focus on the huge section game against Canon Mac on Friday, Jan. 6.

The BP boys go into the game with an overall record of 4-6 and 0-2 in section play. Cannon Mac comes to Bethel with an overall record of 7-2 and a section record of 0-1.

Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Show some school spirit and come support your Black Hawks as they look to get their first win in their section against the Big Macs.
