Athlete of the Week: James Gmiter is the next football star
The third Athlete of the Week is the nominated sophomore football star, James Gmiter. He is number 74 on the field and plays for varsity.
James has been playing both football and basketball for ten years as he strives to play for many more. James is planning to play football in college.
“My favorite memory overall of playing football was beating USC by over twenty points.”
When asked if he had any role models that make him push harder, James commented, “Yeah, my Pap. He passed away a couple months ago. He was a coach for Bethel Park and he played here too.”
James said he encourages others to play football and says, “If you want to do it, do it now.”
Best of luck to sophomore James Gmiter on next year’s season!
