On April 7, the BPHS chapter of the Delta Epsilon Phi German National Honor Society celebrated the induction of ten new members.
The induction highlighted the dedication of students who succeed not only in their academic pursuits but also in their commitment to the German language and culture.
To be eligible for induction into this prestigious honor society, BPHS students must meet a strict set of criteria.
Candidates must have completed a minimum of three semesters of German study, maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and achieve a GPA of 3.6 in their German courses.
Additionally, students must earn at least one non-weighted ‘A’ grade in their German studies every three semesters and may not have any grades of ‘C’ or lower.
This rigorous selection process ensures that only those who demonstrate commitment to the German language and its culture are acknowledged.
