The PA DECA state conference was a significant event for the BP DECA chapter, showcasing the skills, dedication, and hard work of its members throughout the year.
Out of a total of 31 top-eight finalists representing BPHS, an impressive 16 members qualified for the next level of competition, demonstrating the strength and competitiveness of the chapter.
This achievement highlights individual talent and the collaborative efforts of the chapter members, advisors, and the school’s business program, fostering an environment conducive to learning and excellence.
When asked about the BP DECA chapter’s success at the event, BP DECA advisor Mrs. Smoller said: “It was great to see 11 of these students reach the international level for the first time! I have also been impressed with the number of students who are ready to begin projects for next year!”
The fact that over half of the BPHS finalists advanced speaks to the rigorous preparation and commitment each member displayed.

Similarly, Molly Welch earned recognition for having the Top Role Play 1 score, exemplifying her strong interpersonal skills and ability to think on her feet in real-world business simulations.
Moreover, the success of the BP DECA chapter was further highlighted by the recognition of senior scholarship recipients, including Audrey Campbell, Emma Bianco, Julia Gobbie, and Nina DePasquale.
