BPHS is making adjustments to its academic calendars due to recent weather-related disruptions.
The announcement was sent out to families on Monday, Jan. 20.
The second nine-week marking period has been extended by one day to ensure students and teachers have sufficient time to complete essential tests, assignments and projects.
By granting an extra day for completion, students can have the necessary time to focus on their academic goals without any added stress.
Additionally, as per the normal school schedule, on Monday, Jan. 27, there will be no classes as it will be dedicated to Records Day.
This day is typically reserved for teachers to update student records, allowing parents and guardians to review their children’s progress.
The third nine-week marking period is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
This new start date will provide students and teachers with a fresh start and the opportunity to tackle new challenges.
Students, families, and faculty alike can look forward to the revised calendar, which prioritizes academic success and well-being.
