Be quick to “interact”! Join BP’s newly reinstated Interact Club
Want to learn how to help your school and community? Look no farther because Bethel Park School District has officially re-instituted its community-service based Interact Club.
Any student of IMS or BPHS can take part in this exemplary organization sponsored by local Rotary clubs, Bethel Park/USC Breakfast Club, and The Bethel Park Lunch Club.
So far, the club has started a pen pal program with a local long-term care facility and made personal projects to thank their chosen pandemic hero. Members have also helped out the Salvation Army by volunteering as holiday bell ringers and making cookies to be donated to Meals on Wheels.
Interact Club is now meeting on a regular basis virtually to accommodate remote-learning and CDC protocol. The next meeting is this Wednesday, Jan 13.
