French Club gives hope to Haiti
Impoverished would be an understatement to describe the destitute conditions in Haiti.
In view of the horrible conditions, the hurricane in 2010 left the country with poor infrastructure, as well as long term food shortages, and the terrifying risk of cholera.
One of the benevolent causes the French Club at BPHS is fulfilling is raising money to donate to penniless Haitian students. They are conducting a week-long fundraiser from Monday, Sept. 9 to Friday, Sept. 13.
How can you donate? In each of the foreign language rooms, there are buckets labeled “Hope for Haiti;” any and all students are welcome to donate.
