The Bethel Park Music Department returned home Monday, April 29 after dominating the competition in Chicago.

The music department won a total of 15 awards and ranked either superior or excellent in every category.

Below are the listed awards:

• Symphonic Band: first place, superior and best overall band
• Concert Band: first place, superior
• Chamber Orchestra: second place, excellent
• String Orchestra: first place, excellent
• Jazz Ensemble: first place superior, best section (trombones), and best overall jazz
• Bethettes: first place, superior
• Majorettes: first place, superior
• Drumline: first place, superior
• Top 21 (jazz): first place, superior and best overall specialty choir
• Top 21 (classical): second place, superior
• Best Mannered
