BPHS students are cordially invited to attend a special event at Upper St. Clair High School on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.

Becoming a Competitive College Applicant will feature school overviews and panel discussions.

Hosted schools include: The Ohio State University, Villanova University, Drexel University, John Carroll University, and Syracuse.

The panel will discuss essay and test requirements, letters of recommendation, campus  visits, scholarship and financial aid information, student alumni presentation, and “question and answer” sessions. Your questions will be answered by people that determine if you are a good fit for their school.

Mr. Bruce said, “Sometimes it’s nice to hear a different voice in the college reps rather that a HS Counselor talking in your ear on a daily basis.”

This night will answer all questions you may have about starting your future. 

If you’re asking yourself, why should I go? Mr. Bruce said, “This is exclusive to BP and USC.  To get 1:1 time with very good schools like these is hard to find.”
