Sign up for Student/Staff Secret Santa by Dec. 3
Time is running out for students and staff to sign up for this year’s Secret Santa.
Information sheets, which can be picked up in the Activities Office, are due to Mrs. Schreiber in the Activities Office no later than Thursday, Dec. 3. Staff received said sheets in their mailboxes.
Each student will be paired up with a teacher and vice versa to exchange two small gifts ($5 or less) and one bigger one ($10-15). The dates for the small gift exchange are Friday, Dec. 11 and Friday, Dec. 18 and the larger gift exchange is Tuesday, Dec. 22.
On the 22nd during the gift exchange, there will also be a breakfast at 6:30 a.m. in the LGI room. Einstein Bros. Bagels will be catering the breakfast and there will be live music, courtesy of the concert orchestra.
“It’s really cool to see everyone give gifts and then sit down and enjoy a nice breakfast together, talk more about their interests and hobbies, and listen to some classy music from the Bethel Park High School Music Department,” said SGA officer Will Dunn.
Usually, 30-40 students participate in the Secret Santa, but this year the event is supposed to take off.
This year, SGA is aiming to complete a staff appreciation project, such as the Secret Santa, each month or so.
The students treated the staff to some Halloween candy in October, and they’re currently planning an entire Staff Appreciation Week for this May.
“We like to treat our staff a lot just because they do so much for us students,” concluded Dunn.
