Students and staff will soon be wondering the same question this holiday season: “Who is giving me these gifts?”
SGA is returning with it’s annual Christmas tradition this year of holding a Secret Santa breakfast. It has been a long running holiday tradition at the school.
This year, the breakfast will be on Thursday, Dec. 19 beginning at 6:30 a.m. in the LGI room.
For the exchange, each student is paired with a staff member. They give each other a total of three gifts. Two smaller gifts before and a big gift the day of the breakfast.
The LGI room will be decorated festively. Seasonal tablecloths and handmade center pieces will be on the table. The centerpieces will be raffled off at the end of the breakfast.
The staff can look forward to both good food and entertainment.
Last year, the breakfast featured a jazz trio. This year, students of Top 21 will be showcasing their talents as they sing carols for the breakfast.
For food, Bruegger’s and Starbucks have been popular in the past.
The breakfast gives students and staff the opportunity to get to know each other better. Following the giving of the gifts, participants get to enjoy the breakfast until the start of the school day.
Both students and staff find this event to be a fun holiday activity that helps to get to know people on a more personal level.
