On November 10th, 11th, and 12th, the Bethel Park High School Student Goverment Association attended the 75th Annual PASC State Conference.
The theme of this year’s conference was “A Little Help From My Friends.”
The conference was held in Altoona, PA at the Altoona Area High School. The entire three day conference was organized by the Altoona Area High School’s Student Government, with some assistance from its advisors.
Bethel Park sent eleven students to the conference, and each student stayed with a host family in Altoona.
At the conference, our SGA representatives presented workshops to other students, observed other students’ workshops, and listened to motivational speakers. At the end of the three day conference, there was a banquet and a dance.
There were 300-400 schools attending the conference, with about 1,000 total representatives.
This was a great oppurtunity for our SGA members to make some new friends, as well as learn more about leadership.
