Sorry Beliebers, but your idol is turning out to be not so idol worthy.
Justin used to be everybody’s sweetheart. That little kid that played the guitar and got discovered by Usher. He and his baby voice then went on to releasing his first album My World, which held the pop hit “Baby.”
As Bieber aged, his innocence crumbled, and this crumbling innocence was not a private matter. It crumbled in front of the entire globe.
He has the second most Twitter followers in the world (behind Katy Perry) with 48 million followers. As a result of this, he is a frequently trending topic.
And he’s trending again. Recently, local radio hosts Mikey and Big Bob started the trend #deportbieber in response to his recent trouble in Miami. And it’s trending all across the Pittsburgh area.
But before we recap Bieber’s most recent fumble, let us take a look back at his slow demise.
It all started back in January when he was caught smoking marijuana before his show in Denver and then again after. While this is legal (in Colorado), it’s not the brightest thing to do when your fan base is predominately tweens. He later apologized to his fans on Saturday Night Live.
After that, while in Stockholm, Bieber was caught with a small amount of drugs in his bus.
In April, he visited the Anne Frank house. Bieber then wrote in the guest book “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”
He’s also been on a recent kick of attacking paparazzi. He scuffled with the photographers twice this past year. One claimed he issued a “martial-arts style kick” during their argument, according to TMZ.
After that, when traveling home from Germany, Bieber tried to board the plane with his pet monkey, Mally. Bieber, however, did not bring the proper paperwork, so he left the monkey in Germany, never to return for it. Fortunately, the monkey found a new home in Serengeti Park near Hanover, Germany.
Bieber was then caught leaving a gentlemen’s club while in Brazil. He then continued to take home girls from both the gentleman’s club and other night clubs.
More recently, Bieber was caught egging his neighbor’s house and caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage to the home. Police then came and raided Bieber’s home for the security system, but they also found something else, drugs. Bieber let his sidekick, Lil Za, take the fall for that one.
Even more recently, Bieber is now facing criminal charges for traffic violations in Miami and assault in Toronto.
In Miami, Bieber was pulled over by the police while drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini. Although he was not over the legal limit of alcohol, marijuana and anxiety pills were found. He was then arrested for driving under the influence, driving with an expired licence, and nonviolently resisting arrest. He is pleading not guilty and his court date is set for Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
Most recently, Bieber turned himself in for a limo driver assault on December 29, 2013 in Toronto. He and members of his entourage got into a fight with a limo driver outside of a Toronto Maple Leafs game.
Now, as a result of all this, more than 100,000 Americans signed a petition to have the pop star deported. When a petition breaks 100,000, it is promised to be looked at by the president.
Despite some trying to deport him, Bieber still has some support. Most of this support stems from his legion of fans, Beliebers. They have lashed out on Twitter and started the hashtags #FreeBieber #WeWillAlwaysSupportYouJustin.

Justin Bieber just got back from Panama, so only time will tell whether Bieber continues to burn or if he rises from the ashes.
