Bethel Park High School is hosting an outdoor movie night in the courtyard on Friday, May 3rd. All proceeds will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund.
Starting at 8:45 PM, Rise of the Guardians will be the feature film showing in the BPHS courtyard on a projector screen. Everyone is invited to come out and support the Four Diamonds Fund, a fund devoted to pediatric cancer research and caring for children at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
The Four Diamonds Fund was founded back in 1972 by Charles and Irma Millard, the parents of Chris Millard, who died of pediatric cancer. Every year, Penn State holds THON, a two day dance marathon that has raised over $100 million since 1973.
Be sure to bring your appetite as there will be concessions including chicken sandwiches, pasta, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, and baked goods. Also, a $5 dollar donation is encouraged, but more is always welcome.
Do your part to support this great cause; if you cannot make the movie night or don’t want to watch Rise of the Guardians, donations can be made through the following website: http://fourdiamonds.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=688.
