This past weekend, students from our music department participated in the PMEA District choir festival.
These three day festivals are set up so that the students audition for their chair in the choir on the first night, and the next two days are devoted to rehearsing for a concert on Friday night.
At each festival, a guest director is chosen and for this year’s district festival, Andrew Clark from Harvard University led the participants to a fantastic concert.
Students from all over the area came together to participate in the festival. From Riverview, PA to Moon, PA musically inclined students gathered to share their talents.
16 Students from BPHS are moving on to Regional Choir which will take place in March.
At the Regional festival, these 16 students will audition for All States. Good luck to all participants!
