Faculty Spotlight: Mr. Winschel
Mr. Winschel, a biology teacher at BPHS, is a man of many interests. Believe it or not, he is a beekeeper, golf coach, track coach, and he is a great marathon runner. He is this week’s Faculty Spotlight.
How long have you been teaching?
This is my 11th year of teaching and my sixth at Bethel Park
Where did you attend college?
University of Pittsburgh, BABY!
What is one thing on your bucket list?
One thing on my bucket list would be completing a triathlon.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I run a travel club and I bring a group of students with me every year.
What are some of your favorite musicians or bands?
I really enjoy “Audioslave,” “Nirvana,” and “Third Eye Blind.”
What is your favorite food?
Home-made chicken pot pie, but also beef jerky
