The globally known brand NOLAC that’s been worn across 40 plus countries is making a tremendous influence in the clothing worn around Pittsburgh. Owner and creator Jared Zych graduated from Bethel Park and lives in Pittsburgh, but not many expected his apparel to take such precedence over other clothing brands when students are choosing what to wear in the morning.

“It’s a start. If you can get traction in Pittsburgh you can build anywhere,” said Zych.

Senior students,Mike Conaboy and Anthony Klase have ultimately been with Zych since the start of NOLAC in 2013. Both also helped aid in Zych’s shirt printing business, Tivum Printing, where countless NOLAC shirts were printed.

“We all definitely have some funny memories in that shop, but it’s nice to know that we helped him reach some of his goals,” said Conaboy.

NOLAC’s store on East Carson Street is open all week with long store hours ranging from noon to basically midnight.

Steelers Pro-Bowl running back James Conner and 2x NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, have both been in out of Zych’s shop through the last couple of months attracting large crowds in South Side.

“It’s pretty cool to see what Jared is doing, he’s always been like another older brother to me and to see him do well means a lot,” said Klase, who has known Zych since a young age.

With top-of-the-line clothing, great customer service, and reasonable prices, going down to the NOLAC shop at 1214 East Carson Street, will be something you will not regret.
