Is there a major that you are interested in or a job you want to learn more about? Then the Career Spotlight Series is just for you.

A wide variety of professionals from various fields are coming to the high school to talk about their particular jobs. There is everything from the medical field to technology to engineering. Any student can surely find something that catches their interest.

The speakers are telling students all about the work that they do, the salary, and job outlook for their field. They will also answer any questions that the students may have. Students have the opportunity to learn a ton of new information that can definitely help them decide if it is a field they want to go into.

The Career Spotlight Series is especially helpful for seniors as they go through the process of choosing a college and a major. However, anyone from any grade is more than welcome to attend! Just check Naviance or go to the counseling office and they will help you.

If you want to check out the list of dates and times for each of the speakers, log into Naviance and there is a link on the homepage. You can simply select the spotlights you want to attend and print out the form before you submit it. Make sure you gain your teacher’s permission before attending a career spotlight in the principal’s conference room.
