John Green’s up and coming movies
John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars, is making three more books into movies, Looking for Alaska, Let It Snow, and Paper Towns in the next year or two.
After his major success with his best selling novel being turned into a movie, many other Hollywood film makers are looking to turn his other works into films too.
Paper Towns, which was bought by Fox 2000 and being directed by Jake Schreier, is set to come out July 30, 2015. They will bring back the same team who made The Fault in Our Stars, Mr. Green being executive producer and Natt Wolf (Issac in TFIOS) as the main character.
Mr. Green’s other book being made into a movie is Looking for Alaska. This has been a movie in the makings for a long time, but they hope to reach the final destination with Sarah Polley doing the screen writing.
Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances was co-written by Mr. Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It was bought out by Universal, but has no set release date.
With the large success his first movie adaptation made, expectations are high for these next three.
