If you’re a hardcore Belieber, or just a fan, or even someone who likes dance music, you may like Justin Bieber’s new album, Purpose, a lot. It turned me into a Belieber after being a Beliedoubter.

This album features slow songs with plenty of meaning, along with dance music, including his two hit singles released earlier in the year, “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry.”

One song in particular caught my attention, which is the song “Get Used To It.” It’s basically Justin singing about how he fell in love with her, and is telling her to get used to him being around and him loving her. It has a really good beat to it, and it’s personally my favorite song.

But while this song is focusing on him loving someone, another song that is soon to be a single, “Love Yourself,” veers in a different path.

In “Love Yourself,” Justin sings about an ex, but most likely NOT Selena. “Love Yourself” describes the way Justin feels about her, and how she continues to try and stay in his life. He even tells her that his mom doesn’t like her, but she likes everyone. He tells her to love herself because she thinks he’s dwelling over her, when in reality he’s absolutely fine, and she’s kind of conceited too. “If you like the way you look that much, then baby you should go and love yourself. And if you think that I’m, still holding on, well baby you should go and love yourself.”

There are many more songs on this album that feature electronic/dance beats, and songs that focus on heartbreak and past relationships. They are definitely worth listening to. You’ll probably hear at least one of them at Glowfest too.

Justin also released 13 music videos on YouTube, featuring the popular dancers you see in the “Sorry” music video, and a few new faces. Justin has really outdone himself, and it seems that he is back on the right path. He stated that he lost his purpose during that hard time, but he found it again, and that’s what this album is about.

One Direction also released their new album, Made in the A.M., which seems to be pretty popular as well. I posted a poll on Twitter asking which album is better, and the response was more in favor of “Purpose.”

All in all, “Purpose” is a really fun and emotional album, and I give it 5 stars.
