Whether on the diamond or in the classroom, Matty Szymanowski is a name to remember.

A journalism veteran, Maty is now heading into his third year on the staff.

He would like to be successful in life and make a positive impact on others on a daily basis.

Matty strives for greatness, and his intentions for his senior year are to write about sports, which he considers his strong suit.

He would like to attend college after high school and maintain a high grade-point average and be employed (hopefully in sports management).

This stud of the diamond keeps baseball close to his heart and mind at all times, as he considers the ideal date a Pirates game and some fro-yo, similarly to the snow cone shop that he loves working at.
