Boys celebrate scoring a point during their 3rd place match against Seneca Valley on May 24

Congrats to the boys’ volleyball team who on May 24 beat Seneca Valley in 5 sets to place 3rd in the WPIAL and qualify for states.

The first set was a little tough on the boys as the team really didn’t play too well and they lost 25-14.

But then they woke up and won the next two sets.

The boys barely lost the 4th set and won the 5th.

All in all, it was just a great team effort from the boys.

Senior Connor Savrese said, “I know we’re all pretty pumped up and excited to be in states for the 5th year in a row. If we play as a team and to our potential, I think we have a solid chance. We’re excited to get back out there and see what we can do. Most of the team has been there the past four years, so we have some experience going in.”

So, come support the boys as they look to capture the state champion title.

They play McDowell at Meadville on Tuesday, May 30 at 7:30 PM in the first round.
