The Mock Trial Team will compete Monday night against Pittsburgh Sci Tech at the Allegheny County Courthouse in the final round of the districts competition for Pennsylvania Mock Trial. Action starts at 5:15 p.m.

The team began practice in September to prepare for the competition.

Students take on the role of either a lawyer or witness in a fictional court case published by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

This year’s case is a civil case, and students have practiced diligently for the past few months to prepare for tonight’s competition.

The team is coached by Ms. Robb, the BPHS Gifted Coordinator, as well as by two volunteer attorneys: Ken Haggar and Bridget Smith.
