Students throughout Bethel Park are doing to their part to help the victims of the recent hurricanes.

Here at BPHS, DECA, cheerleading, Latin Club, and social studies teacher Mrs. Schuster and her classes are all involved in the Adopt-A-Texas Classroom foundation to help donate school supplies and money to those directly affected by this natural disaster.

To start raising money, a Miracle Minute will take place this Friday, Sept. 15 at the spirit assembly at the end of the school day.

During the Miracle Minute, there is going to be a representative from each grade collecting as much money as possible in only one minute. It would be greatly appreciated if students would bring change or dollars to donate.

In addition to the Miracle Minute, starting on Monday, Sept. 18, camo bandanas will be for sale for $2 a piece during lunch periods. The Homecoming game is a camo theme.

All of the proceeds are going to directly benefit the people affected. The goal is to make this a district-wide project and get everyone involved. Any donation made to this relief effort is helpful and appreciated.
