At the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 10, Leonardo DiCaprio took home the well-deserved trophy for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in The Revenant, (Oscar worthy film).

The speech he gave moved everyone who watched the ceremony.

Leo is currently trying to make more people aware of indigenous cultures and corporate acquisitiveness.

He stated, “I want to share this award with all the first nation’s people represented in this film and all the indigenous communities around the world. It is time that we recognize your history.”
