The softball team defeated Canon Mac on Tuesday, April 4 in what was a slugfest.

There were a combined total of 10 homeruns.

Leading the Hawks were Shayna Postler, Rachel Hankin, Colby Reid, Abby Joyce, and Ashley Burford, each with a homerun.

The final score, 20-14, looked more like the result of a football game than a softball game.

Abby Joyce, who pitched to give the Hawks a 2-0 record in the section, said,  “Did we just go to McDonald’s because we just ate a lot of Big Macs.”
