Girl Scout Cookies

As Spring is approaching closer and closer, that means the sun is rising earlier, the birds are chirping louder, and the Girl Scout Cookie sales begin sooner!

As we “spring” into April, you will notice more grocery stores and mall entrances being crowded with a booth or two of Girl Scout Cookies being sold by your local Girl Scout Organization, where eager customers hurry to buy multiple boxes for themselves and for their friends and family.

At BPHS, Girl Scout Cookies are currently the big craze, with students raving about their favorite kinds.

Sophomore student and Hawk Eye staff writer Lizzy Partsch says, “My favorite kind of Girl Scout Cookies are Samoas all the way! I like the caramel part of the cookie the best.”

Lizzy’s best friend, sophomore student Regan Gray, seems to disagree with her choice: “I like the Tagalongs the best,” Regan comments.

Senior student Natalie Coccagno says, “I love Trefoils! They melt in your mouth and I’ve loved them since I was little.”

With the purchase of each and every box of cookies, you are not only treating yourself but the Girl Scout Organization as well. All proceeds go back to their foundation of influencing young women to become strong leaders. Help support your local shops and organizations while treating yourself and friends to a delicious treat!
